FLOOR TALK

We had the pleasure of running FLOOR TALK: A Spoken Word Workshop with TROU as part of the UMSU Student Union events at the University of Melbourne.

Co-presented by TROU and facilitated by the amazing Lexis V, the workshop kicked off with a powerful 15-minute performance by TROU poets blending performance and creative prompts to set the tone. From there, we moved into a hands-on session where participants were gently guided through simple but impactful ways to shape and share their voice.

Whether they were first-time writers or undercover poets, everyone had the opportunity to create something in the moment and many bravely shared their work at the end. It was such a fun, warm, and inspiring space to be part of. Big thanks to the University of Melbourne Student Union for having us.
