DJ & Electronic Music

Eight weeks of mixing, music selection, and production. For young people who want to learn for real — and play out at a real event.

What it is

DJing isn't a button-press hobby. It's craft, history, taste, and reading a room. This program teaches young people the real thing — and puts them on a real stage at the end.

Eight weeks, weekly two-hour sessions, two facilitators in the room. Real gear, real music, real practice from week one.

Strong fit for students who don't always engage with traditional music programs — and a clear pathway into Melbourne's electronic music scene through TROU's regular events.
