Creative Voice
A six-week multidisciplinary taster across writing, music, visual arts, and DJing. For young people figuring out what fits.
What it is
A lot of young people know they want to make something. They just don't know what yet.
Creative Voice is for those students. Six weeks, weekly two-hour sessions, two facilitators in the room. A guided taster across four artforms — designed to expose, not specialise.
Best for younger year levels (12–16), or older students new to creative practice. Often used as an entry point before the deeper eight-week programs.
How it runs
-
Week 1 · Writing
Words, lyrics, poems, journal prompts.
-
Week 2 · Music
Songwriting basics, beats, recording a voice memo.
-
Week 3 · Visual
Drawing, collage, photography, making a zine page.
-
Week 4 · DJing & Sound
Mixing 101, sampling a track, building a 5-minute mix.
-
Week 5 · Bring it together
Pick one direction. Develop one piece with mentor support.
-
Week 6 · Sharing
An informal sharing event — friends and family welcome. Low pressure. Or keep it internal if that fits better.
Who delivers it.
