Yemaja Group Exhibition
Yemaja is a group exhibition centring Black women artists through painting, collage, prints, and multimedia. Named after the Yoruba deity of water and creation, the show channels Yemaja’s spirit; nurturing, powerful, and deeply rooted in care. It’s a soft yet strong offering that honours the beauty, depth, and complexity Black women carry daily. Themes of spirituality, resistance, joy, and healing flow through each piece. While the space is open to all, it speaks directly to and from Black women; unapologetic, reflective, and restorative. Step in with respect. Let the work hold you.
